Coconut Oil?
Have you ever used lotion and you just keep rubbing your hands together but no matter what you do, it still feels like a greasy mess? More than likely that is because the lotion contains coconut oil.
Don't get me wrong, unrefined coconut oil can be pretty amazing and do some awesome things, especially if you're eating it, but you don't always want to fight with the greasiness of it on your skin. My lotions contain capric/caprylic triglycerides. This is technically a type of fractionated coconut oil but because it is all saturated fat (the unstable fatty acids have been removed), it feels "dryer" and less greasy, allowing your skin to absorb it quickly. It also leaves your skin feeling silky soft. It also helps to make the oil more stable and extends the shelf life without going rancid as easily.
